Follow the simple steps below to begin your admissions process for Hope Leadership Academy—now enrolling grades Pre-K through 5th
STEP 1
Apply Online

a. Go to apply.avela.org/schoolappkc
to complete an application
b. Next, use the link below to find the pre registration form:

c. Once your pre registration is approved, you will receive an
enrollment email which contains the information needed to
create a parent portal account that connects to your student’s
account.
STEP 2
Complete Enrollment Forms

Once you’ve created an account in PowerSchool, select the
student you are enrolling and click on the “Student Forms” icon
in the left navigation menu. It is imperative that all forms are
completed by ** August 1, 2025**.
STEP3
Submit Required Documents
​
1. Proof of Residency (One form from the options below)

Current utility bill or lease/rental agreement that is dated within the past 30 days. The address must be printed in the “service at” line and cannot read “final bill”

Current Lease/Rental Agreement, Mortgage Statement or Deed

Loan Paperworkc.

Court Documentsd.

Government Paperworke.
2. IEP or 504 plan from previous school (if applicable)
3. Copy of Current Immunization Records
4. Copy of Birth Certificate
